We are an “unplugged facility” with no WiFi or TV to ensure our guests can escape the chaos of reality and relax. Our space provides you with the basic necessities for your stay. Private getaway in the mountains of SW PA. 5 min from Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Small home with a spacious deck and large open doors that make the indoor and outdoor space a single living area. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. For those brining pets, keep in mind there are some dogs that run in the neighborhood and also plenty of other wildlife.

We are located just miles from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Mountain Resorts, Somerset and the PA Turnpike Interchange, and a mile from the town of Rockwood and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail head!

Welcome to the Red Brick Roost Guesthouse. This historic home is the oldest brick house in Rockwood and dates to the 1870s. The house is conveniently located on Main Street in town, just .7 mile ride/walk from the Great Allegheny Passage trailhead. We also offer a locked storage area for bikes and ski equipment. We are close to other local gems: Hidden Valley, Seven Springs, the Flight 93 Memorial site, and Fallingwater. We look forward to having you roost with us!

Each pod features a queen-size bed, a mini kitchenette with a coffee maker and microwave, and a dining table for two. Pods are equipped with heating and cooling, electricity, and WiFi. Though there's no bathroom inside, our luxury bathhouse with private stalls is just a short walk away and visible from your pod.

Pap's Place

Pap’s Place is a single-wide mobile home that has been recently renovated. This property is named after the former owner, Warren Sterner, affectionately called “Pap” by his grandchildren. Warren was a railroad enthusiast. He could never work on the railroad due to the loss of an eye at a young age. This home has been decorated with prints of railroad and local scenes that Warren painted during his life.
