Near Martuljek Waterfalls a man named Ingo revived the old pasture in the mountains (40 minute walk from Martuljek). He and his family started writing a story of living in symbiosis with nature, producing their own food and offering it to their guests. Try their natural juices, herbal tea, homemade spirit. A bowl of tasty stew made over an open fire cauldron will certainly do you well. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy their dessert specialties.

Beautiful small lake 20 minutes by foot from Kranjska Gora. You can sometimes ice skate there in the winter and swim in the summer (if you are brave enough, since the water is quite cold).

One of the most beautiful works of art formed by nature can be found along the way to Vršič. The stone face of Heathen Maiden in the northern face of Prisank can be best seen from the viewpoint at ‘Poštarski dom’ mountain cabin at Vršič, but it is also visible from the Erjavec mountain cabin.

Peričnik Waterfall with its 52m one of the highest among Slovenian waterfalls. There is a marked trail leading to it from Mojstrana. It is best to visit it on foot or by bike. You can even go behind or under the waterfall, but be very careful since the path is wet and slippery. You can also ascend to another, upper waterfall, which is smaller but very charming and there are not so many tourists there.
