‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Sweet cabin modest in scale, simple and pure to not detract from the richness of the views, offering a fresh, invigorating sense of just what is needed, nothing more. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees; the knotty pine interior was locally sourced. Friends gifted a claw foot tub and historic farmhouse sink. Enjoy an optional hot tub experience in our Japanese spa or our lovely new cedar sauna! Close to Gore and Garnet Hill!

Farm stay in a cozy yurt

Welcome to Bald Mountain Farm. The yurt is now stocked with fire starter, kindling and wood. The yurt has a full bed. It is hooked up to electricity for lights and a hot plate. Pots, pans and utensils are in the drawer. The compost toilets are in the back. There is no running water but we provide a drinking fountain and little foot pump sink. Note that in the winter months, the foot pump sink is out of order. There is no shower. The distance between parking and the yurt is about 150 yards.

Beautiful log wood cottage with a cathedral roof and a wood stove, located right on the shores of Lac Desmarais in Estrie. The dock is the ideal spot for relaxing. The private lake is a protected area (no gas-powered motors allowed) and is brimming with trout and other species of fish each year. A paddle board, canoe and kayak will be at your disposal. Our Guest Home is a country style, spacious, bright and clean home with wonderful views of the rural surroundings including our vineyard, farm fields, and the apple farm just around the corner. Both the Guest Home and the Winery are wheelchair accessible and there is an electric medical bed available for use.
