Campbell Cottage is located just moments from the sea and a mere 10 minute easy flat stroll along the promenade to the pier and Deal town centre. The local parade of shops just a few minutes away includes a bakery, off license, hardware store, chemist and launderette. There are also several coffee shops, pubs, takeaways and restaurants on the doorstep. Walmer Green is the hub for summer events including the famous Deal Carnival in July and weekly Sunday concerts at the bandstand. From May to September the free open air children's paddling pool is open . A 15-minute level stroll along the seafront promenade leads to Deal town. Buses into Deal, Sandwich, Canterbury, Dover and beyond stop a few metres from the cottage. Deal's award winning High Street and train station are also only a 15 minute stroll away. With pubs, cafés, and local shops selling basic provisions on the doorstep. Walmer Green is a few paces away from the apartment and throughout the summer provides the backdrop for weekly events such as the annual antiques brocante, funfair, vintage car and motorbike displays, food market.

If you are looking for some vintage charm by the sea and you love the sound of seagulls, Gull Cottage set over 3 floors is the one for you. It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. The road is made up of pastel colour houses with a real sense of the neighbourly.

Bell Cottage a Beautiful Little Cottage

Bell Cottage is situated in the rural village of Ringwould in Kent which is one of the oldest villages in the country. Offering stunning walks and views over the countryside towards the coast. Located between our beautiful hometown of Deal, which was voted one of the UK's best seaside towns and Dover, home to the famous White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Both being a short drive away. Our cottage is set back approx 12 metres of the busy main A258. We are approx 2 miles from main Deal town.

Surrounded by fields and orchards, our self contained, detached annexe makes an ideal retreat for a break in the countryside. The property overlooks the paddock where the goats and horses graze. A short drive to the nearby seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay, historical Canterbury and the glorious beaches of East Kent, it is the perfect base to explore the area. A suitable space for families, couples and groups of friends and a great location for walkers, cyclists and sightseers.

The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Brewers, so called as it was originally built in the 19th century for brewery workers at the former Thompson Brewery, is a pretty cottage with fabulous walled garden situated at the end of a peaceful lane in the heart of the Upper Walmer conservation area. The excellent facilities of Upper Walmer are just a 2 minute walk away and Walmer/Deal beach a 20 minute walk making it the perfect base for a coastal getaway.
