Great diving, fishing, and kayaking, too. Steps from restaurants, gift shops, a local distillery, and coffee shop in Hoodsport.

A relaxing 20-minute ferry trip from West Seattle or Water Taxi from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private cozy, Studio cottage with sweeping views of the Sound. Watch the ferries go by, relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, a forest hiking trail with sea and Mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.

Here on Miami Beach, or "my yummy beach" as a certain three-year-old once called it, you will have front-row seats to the grandeur of the Hood Canal where the Olympic Mountains rise majestically from the depths of the sea. Our unique cottage resort is situated right on the water's edge. Cottage #1 is the easternmost of three attached units. The hot tub is outside of Cottage #1 and is shared among all three units.
