Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Kiyomizu Temple, this property offers a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing you with a serene escape. There are two bedrooms and two extra futons, accommodating up to 6 guests. ＊For up to 4 guests, beds will be set up, while for 5 to 6 guests, futons will be arranged in the living room on the first floor. TABITABI MITSU is a fully renovated 100-year-old Kyoto machiya near Rokuharamitsuji Temple. This private entire house offers a calm stay for one group per day. The entrance features historic stone paving once used for Kyoto’s streetcars. The flooring showcases traditional “Naguri” hand-carved textures. Enjoy a serene garden view and relax in the semi-open-air bath with a Shigaraki ceramic tub. Upstairs includes a tatami room and bedroom with refined design details.

Machiya Stay in Gojo, Near Gion and Kyoto Sta.

The house was an Ochaya (literally "tea house")before and we renovated it, which is an establishment where patrons are entertained by geisha. We kept the original structure and make it much more modern and comfortable. The river in front of the house is the must-see in Kyoto changing from cherry bloom to maples. The best location near Gojo bridge and Kiyomizuーgojo sta. can make it very convenient to all the famous spots.

Kyoto Machiya style suite entire house

We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.
