The Surf Chalet is a one of a kind vacation experience on the coast of Maine. Ideally located between Long Sands, Short Sands and the Nubble Lighthouse. Only a 0.2 mile walk to Long Sands Beach, 0.4 mile walk to Short Sands/shopping. The Surf Chalet sleeps 6. Walk to Long Sands Beach - we are 0.4 miles from the beach, about a 7 minute walk. July/August are 7-day Sat to Sat only rentals. IMPORTANT: You must bring your own linens and towels. Cottage is on a charming unpaved road in a quiet neighborhood of small 1950's vintage seasonal cottages. Walking distance to downtown York Beach which has a zoo, restaurants, penny arcade and fun shops. There is a rolling beach cart and two backpack beach chairs available for your use.
