Cleaning fees vary by guest#. Become serene. CELL SERVICE ONLY. Dock for fishing boat and a raised upper deck provides a spectacular view. Full kitchen, giant lake side porch will BBQ PIT. ALSO BBQ + FIRE PIT IN YARD. Noisy groups not tolerated and will be asked to leave w no refund after 2nd neighbor complaint. Sorry!

The Cabin At Caddo Crossing

A log cabin situated on a bluff 30’ above the lake bank, this home captures the feel of an old-time fish camp, and is on the edge of a small village in NW Louisiana. The spacious back porch features a northwestern view, and sunsets are not to be missed. We take our name from the historic draw bridge and train trestle nearby, where today the sound of the trains echoing over the water adds to a quaint feeling to a time gone by. There is a free public boat dock about a quarter-mile away.

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
