The View - explore Shetland then relax in luxury

The perfect place for exploring the north of Shetland mainland and the outlying islands. This is a elegant retreat on two levels including a large kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedrooms and living area. For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. There are two entrances so your stay will remain private. The View is on a small estate

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Renovated chapel in Vidlin, Shetland

Sea views, sunsets, space and solitude in a converted stone built chapel. Renovated to a high standard in 2014, it provides all the home comforts you need in a beautiful location with sea views. There is private parking at the house. The charming village of Vidlin has a well stocked shop within walking distance and a service bus route nearby. In the centre of the village is an attractive marina. The nearest pub in Brae is 10 miles away and it’s just 22 miles to the ferry port of Lerwick.

Located at the very heart of Shetland, with spectactular views & abundant nature, Orwick Lodge is a great base for exploring the Shetland Islands. Minutes from quiet rural beaches, the famous Hams o Roe, trying to spot an otter passing the window or waking up to Shalders on the patio, in 2018 Shetland had 2 pods of Orcas circumnavigating the islands. At evening you can enjoy the award winning Frankies fish & chips, enjoy complimentary mussels from our farm, or seek out Shetland music.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Daisyside

Newly built house - accessible, bright, south west facing with ample parking. Just on the outskirts of Brae, within walking distance to the local supermarket, pubs, restaurants, fish and chip and Chinese takeaways. Garage, hairdressers, beauty salon, swimming pool and leisure centre close by. Plus the No. 23 Bus to Lerwick/Toft runs right past the door. Our outdoor seating area is perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset after an exhilarating day hiking and sightseeing.

Bothy Be Wast

Really get away from it all in this unique secluded bothy tucked away on the west coast of the Whiteness peninsula on the shore of the beautiful Stromness Voe. Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sleeps up to 4 persons with power supplied via 240V battery power pack. Drinking water will be supplied and shower/sink supply will be topped up as required.

Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. With beautiful open views over Bain's Beach, you can enjoy life by the sea with all the modern comforts of the house has to offer, including a wood burning stove. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.
