Nearby multiple wilderness areas, superb mountain stream fishing, small lake fishing, swimming area & beach, wildlife management areas & miles of trails offer tons of natural amenities and outdoor opportunities.

This 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home is just minutes away from Hungry Mother State Park and downtown Marion where you can find local shops, restaurants and special events throughout the year. Other interesting locations and activities close by would include the Appalachian Trail, Back of the Dragon, the Lincoln Theater, the Creeper Trail, Barter Theater, Wohlfahrt Haus and more

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

The cottage features 3 spacious bedrooms, each on its own level; a fully equipped kitchen; great room; dining room; laundry room; and a 2nd-floor loft accessing the 16'-wide balcony. A 20' x 12' deck offers space for outdoor relaxing and dining and opens to the large yard with fire pit.

And there really is quite a lot of bluebirds and finch to see in the spring and summer! Expect the coziness of the fireplace to wrap around you in the cool of the fall and snow of the winter. New construction. 20 minutes to Grayson Highlands, kayaking and Virginia Creeper bike trail also nearby!
