The Outhouse Country Cottage

Nestled among the Cheviot Hills & Northumberland countryside, this traditional stone-built cottage offers comfort, charm & relaxation. Surrounded by wildlife . A large, private garden is the perfect place to unwind & enjoy the peace. A short drive from Thropton & Rothbury, you’ll find welcoming pubs, local shops, restaurants & nearby attractions like Cragside & Simonside. With character & personal touches throughout. Our cottage is the perfect base to explore Northumberland’s beauty & heritage.

Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod

300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Alnwick Glamping Pods

This stylish Pod is perfectly positioned above Edlingham Vale, with the Simonside hills beyond. Deep in the heart of North Northumberland, amenities in Alnwick and activities are just a 10 minute drive away. Next to the Pod, there is parking for 2 cars. Our Pod overlooks the hilltop Farm Steading of Overthwarts, giving panoramic views of the countryside. With your own private gated entrance, you can come and go as you please or enjoy the views from the comfort of the wood fired Kirami hot tub.

A peaceful rural retreat for couples, with walks from the door and being only a short drive away from the stunning Northumberland National Park and Heritage Coastline AONB. Dene Cottage is in Callaly, a quiet hamlet in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, 2 miles from the picturesque village of Whittingham and conveniently located between the towns of Alnwick and Rothbury (each 15 mins drive away). Nearest pub 5 miles, restaurant 5 miles, shop 5 miles. Public transport (bus) 2 miles away.

'Dragonfly Pod' at Pondihengery Glampsite.

Pondihengery Glampsite is a small family run site in a rural area, just outside Rothbury, Northumberland. The site sits on the edge of a stone circle with stunning views. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs. We are striving to make the accommodation accessible so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful area we call home. We currently have one accessible glamping pod on site 'Dragonfly' with a Shepherds Hut now available. We are sure that you will have a memorable stay and book in again!

Skylark Seaview Studio

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Sitting completely on its own at the edge of the Northumbrian moors, The View is a modern, off-grid cabin that allows you to truly ‘get away from it all.’ Gazing out over the Cheviots, this truly unique space is blessed with no surrounding buildings or neighbouring accommodation - offering total tranquility. Head out hill walking by day, then return to relax by the roaring fire. Sip a drink and watch as the weather rolls by. When night falls, soak in the silence and gaze up at the stars.

The Coach House at Lynnholm

The Coach House provides secluded accommodation on a West facing hillside with lovely views of the Cheviot Hills. Set in a very quiet location on the edge of the moors, ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching, castles, fishing, touring or just chilling. The cottage has an enclosed garden and large sundecks where you can eat, drink and even cook (barbeque chiminea) outside and watch the sun go down over the distant horizons of the Cheviots and the Otterburn ranges. Ethie Lodge in Rothbury

A self catering holiday home a stone's throw away from the River Coquet in the beautiful Village of Rothbury. Built of natural sandstone by Lord Armstrong of the famous Cragside Estates in the 1870's, Ethie Lodge sleeps up to four people in comfort with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is featured in the Village trail leaflet as 'state of the art' workers' housing of the time! Tucked away from the Village centre down a quiet private path Ethie Lodge is deceptively spacious.
