Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, seen as the blacksmith and livery in “Cry Macho”, the former adobe one-room schoolhouse from the 1880s territorial period, was just tastefully renovated to a comfortable 1 Bedroom guesthouse with all the modern conveniences. This guesthouse is part of the renovated heart of the Rio Grande village of Polvadera, sitting at the edge of the desert uplands and riverside farmland, 60 miles south of ABQ and 10 miles north of Socorro, and 20 north of BdA

We are surrounded by miles of off-road paths for quiet walks and easy bike rides, yet near enough to the Chupadera Mountains for the more adventurous hiker. Cozy casita, surrounded by farmland in the Rio Grand Valley. Nestled between the mountains with beautiful sunrise's over the mountains in the east & spectacular sunsets to the west. The night sky is fantastic. 30 mins to Bosque del Apache & Ladd S.Gordon Wildlife preserve. Located minutes off the hwy & ten min from Socorro. Plenty of Parking, including trailers or RV's. Horse back trail rides & excursions into the high desert for Pictographs, petroglyphs or rockhounding can be arranged. .

Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. With no neighbors nearby, you can enjoy the beautiful night sky. We're not real fancy, but we're clean, comfortable and quiet! Natural beauty and wildlife surround this sweet cabin in the mountains south of Magdalena. Come to relax and unwind in the beautiful pine woods or book a personal art retreat to focus on your work or learn something new. Beautifully refurbished two bedroom, one bath cabin contains two small-scale art making spaces and a writer’s corner. There are rough sawn wood floors throughout with one of a kind red cedar floors in the living room. Full kitchen with apartment size appliances.

Large back yard a Charcoal Grill available with picnic table. Fenced in back yard. The kitchen has pots pans, dishes, silverware everything is there for your use. Bathroom towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Refrigerated air conditioning. Please inform host if you will have a pet.

Quiet and Beautiful Country Living. Wi-Fi throughout the Cabin. Smells & noises of country life. Doorway into the bedrooms is under 6'. Bedroom ceilings are under 7'. You have to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the larger one. Accordion door between the 2 bedrooms for privacy. You can hear the coyotes and occasional dogs barking at night. You are welcome to wander the property. We also have ducks and chickens. We always have fresh eggs to share.

Lone Pine Inn

Converted 1942 lumber and hardware store. Close to main street, 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed with twin trundle. Plenty of floor in the living room for multiple cots/air mattresses (1 Queen air mattress provided). Non-smoking. Pets are welcome, fenced area in the back. Large parking area for RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles. I'm the owner Cindi Smith and I grew up here. Our town has perfect weather and lots to do. Come visit us!
