It was built so that the ladies of the Consford family could cook on hot summer days without heating up their homes. The canning kitchen has been added on to and changed into a barndominium style cabin. Relax outside on the porch with a hot cup of coffee or inside in front of the tv. The Consford family looks forward to hosting you in this beautiful cabin in the pineywoods.

Cabin D sits on 3.5 acres of riverfront property with access to the Pavillion and deck overlooking the river with ample seating with tables, chairs and bar stools along with a propane grill and griddle to cook your meal. The cabin has 2 queen beds, parking for your boat with an outside receptacle to charge your batteries. Public boat ramp is across the river. (Cabin C has 1 king bed with all the same ammenities)

There are two bedrooms with queen beds plus a futon, enough beds to sleep up to 6 guests. There is one bathroom with a clawfoot tub with a handheld shower for rinsing off, and a spacious, secluded outdoor shower with hot water. Large covered carport with electricity. $75 pet fee

A public boat launch is located 500 feet from Ruby's Cottage. A private patio with a gas BBQ is provided. A queen size bed, 2 adult bunk beds, a washer & dryer are provided. The kitchen has a 4 burner stove, microwave, and dish washer. A TV with Dish network and free Wi-Fi is provided.
