Lillian’s blackberry cabin in Goodhope

Lillian’s Blackberry Cabin is a restored retreat with a story in every detail. Started by my free-spirited, hippie mom in the early 1980s, it sat unfinished for decades. In 2020, we brought it back to life with a renovation, honoring its roots while adding comfort. Today, it’s a peaceful escape to slow down, walk quiet dirt roads, and take in sunset views from the deck. Featured in 417 Magazine, it’s a one-of-a-kind place to unplug and reconnect. About 15 miles SW of Ava on Hwy 76 in Goodhope.

R&R Cottage

A quant 1930s cottage in a peaceful setting located within walking distance of the Ava Square. This 2 queen bed (plus queen sleeper sofa), one bath cottage is the perfect spot for a little R&R. With a park like backyard you won’t remember you are close to downtown shopping, the local Saturday farmers market, and coffee shops until you want the convenience. Close to Branson shopping and shows, area lakes and rivers, a trout farm enjoyed by people from all over the world and great hiking trails.

Welcome to the Grainery! This is a uniquely built grain bin for four, tucked in the edge of the forest in the Ozark Hills. Bring along your smores and enjoy roasting them over a beautiful wood fire and count the stars as you relax in a soothing spa. Our 45 acre farm is only 3 miles from Fordland and 25 miles from Springfield, MO. There are many hiking trails, creeks, rivers and lakes in the area.

One king size bed, as well as a small sofa that will easily sleep 2 kids, or 1 adult. Furnished with a small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. Everything is located in one spacious room, and the bathhouse (pictured) is down the trail. There is also a general store on property with all the essentials. It’s the perfect place to relax, and recharge.

Quick access to local shopping including groceries, fuel and hardware. Catch a show in Branson less than hour away or explore the nearby Glade Top Trail. Please note: this property is not secluded.

Gardner Wildlife Getaway, Wasola Missouri

The fully furnished log cabin will sleep 5 to 6 adults comfortably with one queen and three twin beds. Additional amenities include: full refrigerator, new stove, microwave, coffee pot, washer/dryer and small TV. There is a full bathroom downstairs with shower and bath tub. The cabin is on a working ranch surrounded by woods and pastures with food plots and wildlife ponds. It is a great place for 4-wheeling. We are very near 2 rivers which are great for kayaking.

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.

As you sit on the front porch as the sun rises in the morning, you may never want to leave.

NEW! Village of Hope - Cabin #11

This is a very cute and fun little "studio cabin" (i.e. there is no bedroom) located in the Ozark hills! It is part of a group of 6 cabins (with plans for 6 more) called "Village of Hope". All of the cabins have been built since 2008 and they all have modern amenities including electricity, hot water, toilets, showers, WiFi, and both heating and air conditioning. All of the cabins also have a microwave, small refrigerator, and a coffee pot.
