Convenient to the beauty and attractions of the mid-coast. Camden, Boothbay and Rockland are a short drive. Watch eagles, seals, and an abundance of wildlife, as lobster and sailboats ply the waters to the harbor entrance.

You will love The Grateful Goose Cottage within walking distance to the lighthouse, The Port Clyde General Store, Port Clyde Fresh Catch, Squid Ink Coffee, The Dip Net Restaurant, The Village Ice Cream Shop, and The Black Harpoon Restaurant. Harrington Cove Cottage

A lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet and private setting. A deck overlooks the cove and is great for viewing the abundant and varied bird life, that includes bald eagles, osprey, loons, cormorants and various species of ducks. At times you may also see harbor seals pursuing schools of fish in the cove. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and also has cooling and a whole house standby generator. NOTE: We allow dogs but not cats at the property. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY!

Cook out on the grill, lounge on the deck or dock while taking in the wildlife on a beautiful tidal river. Watch nesting Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons fishing! There is plenty of sight-seeing in this picturesque area. Rockland is just 10-minutes away where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, museums, galleries, lighthouses and festivals.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Guests are able to park in a paved area perpendicular to the driveway. Only able to park one car on the premises. Additional cars can park across the street.
