Wonderful scenery and walks from the door, with popular towns of Buxton, Leek and Ashbourne all a few miles away by car.

All modern comforts, including a microwave, kettle,toaster, CD/DAB radio, Electric, sink+hot water inside hut and a large gas BBQ on the decking outside and 🔥fir pit. Inside is a fantastic wood burning stove or Electric Radiator,you’ll be snug as a bug and a comfortable double bed. At the end of the field away from the Hut is located a modern toilet and shower in a stone building 100m away with a fridge/ freezer. FREE WIFI

It once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back and relax in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! You are surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches.

Nestled in the small village of Dilhorne, (about 6 miles from Alton Towers) you'll be wowed by the panoramic, stunning views & peace & quiet here. There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. The Shepherds Hut is a happy place, a quiet rural retreat. It is nestled in our secret garden on our small holding which is a stones throw from a local RSPB nature reserve and woodland. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, WC, mini kitchen including a Belfast sink, table and chairs and a comfy bed area and even an electric supply. Outside there is a BBQ area, lots of outdoor space and a separate shower block with WC. Private secure parking

Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

Bertie's Shepherds Hut

Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!

The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.

A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.
