Bierkellers were German cellars used to store beer in the 1800's. Come stay at Ste. Genevieve's Bierkeller apartment nestled below the Dr. Hertich House on Main. Centrally located in the historic district, this subterranean apartment boasts original stone walls, dating back to 1801, which was the original foundation before the Hertich House was constructed! Adjoins Early American gift shop called Sassafras Creek Originals which is housed in the circa 1850 Brooks house. Close to wineries, biking and hiking.
