Unwind completely in this detached private lodge, overlooking a natural pond, abundant with wildlife. Breathe the fresh air. Listen to the birds. Relax. The lodge is perfectly designed and fully equipped, a truly comforting retreat. Within 10 minutes walk there’s a butcher, baker, deli, cafe and restaurants.  Lovely walks across open countryside lead to some of the best eateries in the area. Explore museums and galleries, and enjoy theatre, festivals and punting in historic Cambridge and Ely.

Set in a quiet rural location, the village of Langford has a selection of small shops, including a garden centre, chip-shop, pharmacy , pub and post office.

The Barn

A unique and tranquil country escape an hour's drive from London. Relax and unwind, gather with friends and family or explore the endless country walks and roman road on our doorstep. The Barn is set on its own plot of land next to the main house with a large fenced garden, patio area with BBQ and a horse field a few metres away to gaze out onto. A characterful building but totally refurbished and offering a contemporary escape with all the amenities you would expect at home.

Fridge, washing machine, toaster, blender and kettle. There is also a fan to keep you cool should you need it.

Situated just a 5 minute walk to the train station with direct lines to Cambridge & London Kings Cross, and a mere 10 minute walk to Royston’s historic town centre and supermarkets. Alice Barn at Clopton Courtyard is a stylish two bedroom single floor barn conversion, which overlooks the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. A private wood burning hot tub with countryside views makes this a perfect spot to relax in the evening (HOT TUB FEE APPLIES FOR DECEMBER/JANUARY ). The barn also has access to a shared BBQ and fire pit. With Cambridge just 20 minutes away by car, Alice Barn provides an excellent spot from which to explore this historic city.

The Little Hop House, a cosy one bedroom barn

The Little Hop House is a beautifully restored 250 year old building expertly converted from an Old Hop store to a one bedroom annex. It has a well equipped kitchen, living room, large bedroom and bathroom, making this unique space perfect if you are working in the area, a weekend get away or visiting the beautiful historic city of Cambridge. A log burner and under floor heating will ensure your stay is cosy and snug even in the winter months.

The Domek: Idyllic Hertfordshire cottage

The Domek is set within an idyllic courtyard of the Gotha Gardens at Pembroke Farm. The cottage accommodation is over two floors with an open plan sitting room, diner and vintage kitchen decorated in French farmhouse style, whitewashed beams and oak floors. The bedrooms are fresh and charming with a circular window in the double and a Juliet french window in the twin. The Domek also has its own reserved terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Sleeping up to 6 people, the cottage has 2 bedrooms plus a dressing room/work space. The open plan ground-floor living area features a sofa bed and dining area. Renovated to a high standard, the modern kitchen makes this an ideal destination for self-catering breaks.
