Bailey Country House is nestled between Jamestown and Queenstown along the Friendly N6 route, 22 km from Queenstown. It is in a savannah grassland populated with rolling aloe and acacia-peppered mountains typical of the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Your friendly host Marissa stays onsite. Meals are orderable on-site too.

The main lodge is spacious and airy with all the amenities one needs for self catering and the capacity for larger groups. Chalet 3 @ Klipplaatsdrift Safari Lodge has 2 bedrooms, a lounge area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a covered patio with a build in braai.

Coldstream Cottage - Self-Catering Farm Stay

Coldstream Cottage is set in the garden at Coldstream, 2 kms off the N6, 60 kms north of Queenstown and 50 kms south of Jamestown. Our cottage has two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove and oven, airfryer, kettle, and toaster. There is a charcoal kettle-braai available and briquettes and blitz will be required, if you wish to braai. A cozy fireplace for the winter months, which will require wood.

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.

Our farm is nestled in the Stormberg mountains, and our dams are perfect for trout fishing. The cottage can sleep a maximum of 7 people.
