Tranquil Windsor Hideaway

Relax and put your feet up in this peaceful hideaway, down a back section in the heart of Windsor. A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

Anglem & Car

Self contained 2 bedroom house on top floor. Central heating, instant hot water, electric oven and hobs, and all linen is provided. Kiwi have been spotted in the garden, Kaka, our large native parrot visit during the day. A 7 seater van is provided for you, we ask that petrol is replaced. Anglem is very central to all the local activities and has all the comforts of home. Free WiFi Anglem is in the main bay of Oban, a short distance to the ferry, hotel, shops etc. Very sunny and warm house.

Welcome to our place. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, clean, comfortable, friendly, close proximity to town. If you’re into bird watching, you’re in luck…. Tui’, Kaka, Wood Pigeon, Fan Tail, Bell Bird, Parakeet and more, are seen most days on the property. In search of Kiwi you may also spot a whitetail deer on your evening or early morning walk, sometimes just opposite the driveway on the grass. It's only 1.2km from the village - there's a couple of hills. The kitchen has lots of supplies & equipment. Gas hob, fridge with icebox, dishwasher, electric frypan, slow cooker, & drinking water filter. TV & Starlink WiFi. The loo is in the laundry accessed via semi enclosed porch. Bellbird Retreat Stewart Island

Amazing view of Stewart Island and the bay, only 3 min from town on a private setting. Our backyard borders with a beautiful reserve, native bush and outstanding birds. Kiwis, kakas, tui's, bellbirds, kererus all around the property. New hot spring Salt Water Spa/ Hot tub for 7 people. Original island cottage just renovated. Hydrogen rich/ Alkaline water machine (Kangen water) Full kitchen. Lazy boys on the balcony to enjoy the view. 2 Queen beds, 2 bunk beds, Sofa bed. Car lended during stay.

Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Hicks Farm accommodation offers a unit that has a bedroom and living room with your own bathroom 15m away along the outside deck. You are sharing the property with our family, the pet sheep and the local kiwi. We are a 20min walk from the centre of Oban, over a couple of hills. Please consider this before booking. Transfers are available with Aurora cabs, please contact them direct. If walking, backpacks are best and don't forget your rain jacket, it has been known to rain here!
