Get cosy in front of the fire and and enjoy the rustic cottage which sleeps 2 adults. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city centre. There is a bus stop 200 yards from the property- every 10-15 mins. Close to footpaths and a bridle path - to the local pub. Walking distance to a pub, restaurant and shops (15-20 minutes) 5 minutes drive to a cinema, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect accommodation if you are in York to enjoy a night out or explore the local sights and sounds.

Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 4 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

With 3 bedrooms (one of which is downstairs) and 3 full bathrooms it is a spacious home which is ideal for a family get together or for friends meeting up. The dining kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook and eat at home if you wish. The pool table is always a great hit with our guests and many a pool tournament has been played.
