The Alpine A-Frame

The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs. Inside is a small living room, kitchenette, toilet room, shower room, queen size bed, twin size bed in the loft, the couch is a futon sleeper. If you've ever wondered what a tiny home is like, now is your chance to experience it in the Alpine A! We are less than 7 minutes from Boone.

Close to Boone/Appalachian State and Valle Crucis, Ward cottage sits on 100 acres with private hiking trails, firepit, and treehouse. Offering two living spaces - the main house, sleeps 6 & carriage house (above the garage), sleeps 2-3. Our home features decor from local artists and Southern Highland craftsmen as well as cable and WiFi - close to fishing, tubing, & hiking as well as galleries, The Mast Store & dining. Rest, relax, & rejuvenate in this peaceful setting.

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill can comfortably sleep 8 guests. You will love the huge deck & the large hot tub. The property sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills & 2 small ponds. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated full basement with a set of bunk beds, a queen bed, and a large sectional sofa and TV. This is a perfect spot for kids or teens!
