The terrace faces south and in calm nice weather it is great to have a nice evening with barbeque grill or lying in the hot tub watching the stars or at winter time watching the amazing northern lights. Great hiking paths are in the area and lots of Icelandic horse realated activities are all around.We are located between Hveragerði and Selfoss (5km from Hveragerði and 10km from Selfoss). There you can find great swimming pools and all necessities.

The Secret Cabin with hot tube in Nature Reserve

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

A beautiful cozy cottage

My cozy cottage offers a warm atmosphere year-round and is just a 5–10 minute walk from town, with supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The cottage has a small kitchenette with a mini oven and hot plates for simple cooking. Coffee, tea, and essentials are provided. A loft with an extra double bed is usually closed but can be opened upon request for a small cleaning fee. Nearby is Reykjadalur, where you can relax in a natural hot river surrounded by beautiful scenery year-round.

Beautiful nice house (the one on the left) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings.
