Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

There are tables, chairs, lounge chairs and swings around the pool area. We are with in 3 minutes from all of downtown Hammond and 2 minutes to Southeastern Louisiana University. We are only 45 minutes to New Orleans, 18 minutes to Mandeville/Covington and 35 minutes to Baton Rouge.

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. "Bitsy" The Tiny Cabin

Welcome to "Bitsy," an itsy-bitsy cabin located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She is a 72 square foot one room tiny cabin that contains all the comforts one would expect for a great night's stay. For two guests, you'll find the coziest queen bed and a rain shower in a rustic tub. Our quaint little nature cranny is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee.
