The Garden House is a cedar cabin on a mountaintop in the Great Northern Catskills. Our house is setback by a long path, on a wooded lot, and very private. It’s a place to slow down, to recharge the mind & body, and indulge in the immense beauty of the mountains. It’s cozy, made for late night cocktails by a real wood burning fireplace, and for slow mornings at the kitchen table. Our area is all-seasons with skiing, hiking, waterfalls, dipping in lakes & rivers, and plenty of fresh mountain air.

Our cozy little cottage is tucked away adjacent to the woods. This single floor 650sf apartment is a perfect place to unwind, build a bonfire, & enjoy the nature that surrounds you. Wake up in the morning to watch deer while enjoying your coffee on the porch. Main St. Tannersville is only an 8 min walk; with its nice selection of restaurants & shops. Hunter Mountain & Kaaterskill Falls are within a 10 min drive . Woodstock, Saugertise, Windham, Catskill & Kingston are within a 35 min drive.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the sun porch with a glimpse of the mountains over the forest, curl up with a book as light streams through the picture window, roast s’mores over the fire pit surrounded by mountain woods, grab the guitar off the wall and accompany the piano, or relax in the large soaking tub. Take a short drive to find trails, slopes, and some of the best shops and restaurants the Catskills have to offer. This cozy cottage is the perfect spot to unwind and explore all at once.

Walk to Main Street Tannersville Restaurants & shops. 5 min drive to Hunter Mountain. Minutes from trail heads that access the scenic Devil's path range. 10 min drive to North South Lake for swimming, biking, hiking trails, kayaking, & fishing. Sorry no children or infants, adults only.
