The plumpy fireside sofa is perfect for sinking into with a glass of wine. The Gatehouse is only six minutes drive from Martinborough and 11 minutes to Greytown. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, a kitchen/dining space and bathroom with high pressure shower.

Set within 6 acres of farmland this rustic 1993 self-contained caravan with a double bedroom and a deck is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. This getaway is ideal for 2, but with space for 4 people - it suits people who are young at heart and enjoy living in close quarters or families with younger children. We are approximately a 10-minute drive to Upper Hutt and a 30-minute drive to Wellington.

Cosy Cabin ~outdoor bath~stars~donkeys

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our 3 acre lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor dining area with a BBQ. Relax in the ~outdoor bath~ under the stars in front of the wee fire (kindling & wood supplied). We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly.

Beautiful quiet "tiny house" garden retreat with mezzanine sleeping loft; very simple but warm and cosy. Carpeted, insulated and double glazed. Sleeps two upstairs on two single mattresses. You need to be agile enough to climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. Own shower and toilet a few metres from the cabin. Heater, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster and basin in cabin. Wifi. Simple breakfast ingredients and hot drinks provided.
