Pull the plug at this unique and tranquil getaway that we call "Elysium Heritage Farm". Experience groomed trails, ponds, canals & marshes on our 120 acres of woods & wetlands. View multitudes of "flora and fauna" along with the fainting goats, chickens, rabbits & other critters of "The Farm". Go for a canoe or kayak trip and try your luck at catch & release fishing. The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

Bonfire Holler (between Grayling and Gaylord)

Live your life by a compass not a clock. Find your way to Bonfire Holler where you can unplug and relax. Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

Fresh remodel - May 2025! Welcome to Cottage 7 on Heart Lake. This has 1 bed/1 bath accommodating up to 2 guests. The cottage includes a full kitchen stocked with all cookware, silverware, and dining utensils. In the summer guests will have access to shared kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, water trampoline, swim platform, and bonfire pit. In the winter, guests can access Trail 7, directly across the road, for snowmobile season. It's the perfect place for your northern Michigan getaway!

Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.
