Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

We are ideally located approximately 15 minutes from Dargaville and 10 minutes from Glinks Gully. We are the perfect base if you are exploring the Pouto Peninsula or looking to head to the gorgeous Kai Iwi Lakes or Trounson Park, home to the mighty Tane Mahuta. On 20 acres of farmland, we have 4 cattle, pet goats and a flock of suffolk sheep.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Take a break and enjoy the peace and beauty of the Waipu hills. The cabin is located well away from the main house with it's own carport. It has a kitchenette with fridge, hotplates, microwave and a small oven . The spacious deck is prefect for outdoor dining. Relax and enjoy the rural views or head out and explore the area. Waipu township just 10 mins away. Waipu Cove and Uretiti beaches 15-20 mins. Waipu Caves and Piroa Fall are definitely worth a visit too.
