Welcome to Avalon, “An Island Paradise”! Wait, what? … It’s NOT an island, but it IS a paradise! Our thoughtfully designed waterfront escape on the Sunshine Coast is ready for you to relax and let your troubles melt away. Beach access is just steps away from the door. A peak-a-boo ocean view from the SW facing deck, and hiking and bike trails, and waterfalls just short distance. The interior is carefully curated with luxurious finishes and beautiful and comfortable furnishings in every room.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Beautiful little cottage on homestead just 12 minutes from Qualicum Beach. Come connect back with the land and walk the gardens on this quaint little farm. We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats to cuddle with and many free-range chickens. We offer farm tours and fresh coffee. Lots to explore in the area and a quick drive to the beach or old growth forest. The "Love Shack" is the perfect get away for a couple or a pair of close friends! Nestled in the woods you will find a rustic cabin with cedar skin siding. Endless hot water on demand and electric fire place make for a cozy feel in the winter. The deck is an ideal space to sit and enjoy a beverage! Enjoy a comfortable sleep with memory foam mattress and feather duvet! Close to a great network of local biking trails. We are less than two minutes from the ferry terminal by car. Propane BBQ!

Launch your kayak or paddle board steps from your front door and explore some of the most beautiful waterfront in the world. Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just relax and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

Relax by the fire pit on a private deck. Fantastic views of ocean, mountains, and lush green fields! Amazing stargazing here. Abundant wildlife - elk, eagles, bird watching. It's Paradise!

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.
