A short stroll, Cooks is a beautiful sandy beach, very safe for swimming with many other stunning beaches nearby. Cooks Beach is made famous because Captain James Cook sailed on the HMS Endeavour into Mercury Bay in 1769 and anchored at Cooks Beach off Purangi.

This Architect's own Eco-Bach is nestled next to an 18-hole golf green overlooking a tranquil lake with the mountains behind. This location will be a perfect spot for aspiring golfers. The amazing sun sets/sun rises are seen here frequently and going to the beach is a 10 mins walk. This new 2-storey cedar clad house has 4 bedrooms, 2 separate lounges, 2 bathrooms and separate WC, has a Billiard Pool table and can accomodate 10 people. Two timber decks are available for outdoor entertaining.

A beautiful beach holiday home in Pauanui.

A wonderful space for families to enjoy, very easy access to the beach just a 7 min walk and the shops also 7 mins away. Two large decks and two lounge areas. We can also offer the brand-new sleep out which a bedroom with ensuite which is an extra $245 cash per night should you wish to use this space. For 8 people we highly recommend this 4th room however the main house can sleep 8 with the fold out bed. A beautiful, restful place with everything you will need for an incredible holiday.

Our home at Cooks Beach boasts 4 large bedrooms with 7 comfy beds: 2 x queen, 1 x double and 4 x single, to accommodate a maximum of 10 people. It has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area which opens up to two separate outdoor areas. BBQ available, a TV and full laundry facilities. We are only a 3 minutes’ walk to the beach and a 10 minutes’ walk to Purangi estuary, 5 minutes drive to Ferry Landing and short ferry ride to Whitianga with fantastic Restaurants, Cafes and Shopping.
