The oldest restaurant of Paris (maybe?). A long history. Incredible inside, expensive but good meals. Nice from outside also. If you have some money to spend possibly one of the best experiences to have a lunch/dinner in Paris, just because the location is beautiful, and the plates very good.
Famous restaurant frequented Napoleon and Josephine, Victor Hugo, Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and Maria Callas. Perhaps not surprisingly, crazy expensive.
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest restaurants in Paris, located under the arcades of the Palais-Royal. In an exceptional decor of the XVIIIth, with gilt-edged mirrors and chandeliers. The head chef Guy Martin has recently transformed the gastronomic 2 star restaurant into a very chic brasserie.
