Visible from a considerable distance, the flagpole is located on Acuity's campus along Interstate 43 between Milwaukee and Green Bay. The flagpole is nearly 100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty. At 70 by 140 feet, the flag is the world's largest free-flying American flag. Flags are taken down at the first sign of wear, such as tearing along the seams. A professional seamstress uses an industrial-grade sewing machine kept at Acuity to make repairs. The 9,800-square-foot flag weighs 250 pounds.

WORLD'S TALLEST SYMBOL OF FREEDOM. When driving along Interstate 43 in Sheboygan, you can’t miss the largest flagpole in the U.S. The pole is 400 feet high and 11 feet in diameter, boasting a flag that is 120 x 60 feet.

The world's tallest symbol of freedom. You can stand at the base and look 400 feet up at a flag that would cover almost half a football field. Park benches by the nearby pond make it a nice place to relax and enjoy.
