Although not effected by loadshedding, an inverter provides peace of mind with battery backup for all lights, TV, Wi-Fi, coffee machine and fridge, and the ability to use the gas stovetop during any power outages.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. The Nest is a very private little flat situated in a lovely beachfront complex in Shaka's Rock. The complex is a short walk on a path to Thompson's bay. Thompson's bay is a lifeguard protected swimming beach with a large tidal pool. Walk though the "hole in the rock" to another secluded beach. The complex offers a beautiful communal swimming pool which is fully fenced and also offers braai facilities. There is a fire pit to enjoy the ocean sounds.
