The Blue Barn Cottage is a private and cozy 2 bed. 1 bath. backhouse centrally located to everything in town: 8 min to Liberty Univ, 5 min to Univ of Lynchburg, 9 min to downtown. Just off Memorial Avenue in the Fort Hill neighborhood gives easy access to groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Full kitchen, tv with local channels as well as Roku, off street parking and climate controlled. Great for families, LU intensives, traveling nurses, and anyone needing a home base while visiting the area.

A fabulous getaway with the comforts of home. The cottage is unique with loft bedroom, huge deck and fire pit. Recently internet access has been added The field is perfect for ballgames, disc golf or star gazing. The creek will lure you in. A catfish pond waits over the hill. With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or plain old serenity. Note: there’s no TV, children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

Scott School Cottage Stay at Scott School

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

Located 9 miles from Lexington, Washington & Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, paddlers paradise or just a relaxing retreat! The timber frame construction, stone fireplace, gourmet kitchen and park like setting will take your breath away! You won’t want to leave!

Bear Creek Inn

You will be renting the 3 bedroom cottage, very large, fenced yard for your pet. Relax at this quiet, peaceful place with year round trout stream. Minutes from the breweries and wineries on Nelson 151. Plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The George Washington National Forest is across the street for exploring, hiking and hunting. The house is only 4 miles from Crabtree Falls and several minutes from the Appalachian Trail access. Wintergreen Resort is 12 miles away.

Little Gallery House Near Natural Bridge

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

The Shepherdess Cottage

"The Shepherdess Cottage" is a sweet place to visit. It has view of Cahas Mountain in Franklin County, Virginia. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bath. A very large kitchen open to great room. The house used to be a one room school house in early 1900's. It sits on one acre of land and has a rural surrounding. When we purchased it, it was completely gutted with all new construction as of 2018.

If you're looking for privacy, this is the perfect place for you. Nestled atop a hill on a 30 acre farm, visitors will enjoy a stunning view. The studio has a queen-size bed with tasteful decor. The national forest is only a mile away. Locals enjoy floating the James River and hiking the AT. The cottage is 30 minutes to Lexington and 20 minutes to Roanoke.
