Beautiful cottage overlooking Pine Orchard Creek! Enjoy the picture perfect setting of Todd, NC. Our cottage is part of a 17 acre historic farm dating back to 1881. Play in our huge yard, take a dip in the creek, or a hike up our mountain to our private lookout! 1/2 mile from New River with tubing, kayaking and fishing! 15 min to Boone, 15 min to West Jefferson. Perfect for a weekend getaway or for ASU parents! Stocked with goodies including local coffee, our farm fresh eggs, and homemade bread.

Our space, a custom build from HGTV-featured tiny house builder Randy Jones, is on a ridge with unparalleled, 270-degree views of Grandfather Mountain, all three area ski resorts, on into Tennessee and Virginia's Mount Rogers. We're located 20 minutes from Boone and 15 to West Jefferson, and even closer to the Blue Ridge Parkway and New River activities like fishing and tubing. If you've considered downsizing, or you just want to give living tiny a try for a getaway, this is the place!

Cottage on the New River

Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. If relaxing is your style, simply enjoy the view of the river valley from the hot tub, hammock or rocking chairs.

The Loft

The Loft is a 800 SQFT Rustic Urban Design with 1 Bedroom 1 Bath has an open floor plan, Large windows throughout the home with breath taking views of the Mountains and trees surrounding the Property. The Back Porch is totally private with a Sectional Sofa to enjoy the evening breeze or to watch the sunset. Back in side we have a full Kitchen with all amenties of home, Dining Room, Living room with plenty of space to relax and watch TV, And a large Bedroom with adjoining Bathroom.

Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.
