Glamping Pod, Guershader, Isle of Lewis

Welcome to the pod! Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? Then I'm sure you'll enjoy coming back each day to a cosy, yet surprisingly spacious, quiet and comfortable pod 😊 LAUNDRY ROOM AND BIKE STORE AVAILABLE.

Chalet Coll

Sleeps up to 4 Either - [3 adults as a family] or [2 adults + 2 children] or [Max 2 business/contractor people] This is a compact but well planned, cosy and a very clean chalet, nice and warm in the coldest of winters and is also very comfortable in the hot summer months. Situated on a small croft in the village of Outend Coll, close to our Coll and Gress sandy beaches plus only 6 miles from our main town Stornoway. A great place to stay and have easy access to explore the rest of the Island/s.

The Barn @ 28a

6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Kitchen/dining area upstairs, downstairs 2 comfortable/well equipped en-suite bedrooms, double and king, with optional single bed. Also sofa bed. Sleeps 7 people. ES00593P

Risso`s Pod. Broadbay is baby dolphin hotspot.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

ISLE be BACK, Seaview and beach on your doorstep

Our Island house is located 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I help with the admin of his holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Sìth

Perched above Upper Coll beach on the Isle of Lewis, Sìth—Gaidhlig for peace—offers a tranquil escape. Beside it sits Sonas, meaning tranquility, another cozy tiny home, perfect for couples, friends, or families. Each pod sleeps 3 with a double bed and a sofa bed (slightly larger than a single, ideal for kids or one adult). Just 10 minutes from Stornoway, this spot is perfect to explore the beaches and see the best of what Lewis has to offer.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery,

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Rosewell, tranquil island escape

Light and spacious, Rosewell has a modern and relaxed hygge style, including a wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. Rosewell is a detached bungalow set in a quiet and secluded ¼ acre of mature garden in the township of Tong, you're less than a 10 minute drive from the main town of Stornoway. Including free parking, fast Wi-Fi, Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, it's a home away from home.

Uig Sands Rooms Luxury Apartment

Incredible picture windows with beach and sea views. Wood-burners to keep cosy on the colder nights. An ideal location for guests to explore the wilderness and experience the local heritage and culture. A very short walk to Uig Sands Restaurant for evening meals (closed over winter so check opening times ahead). Empty white sandy beaches for surfing, swimming, sunbathing or beach-combing.

Newton Marina View

Cozy 1 bedroom flat conveniently located only a 2 min drive away from the ferry terminal and a 7 min drive to the Stornoway airport. The nearest supermarket is only a 5 min walk away and the town centre is a 7 min walk. Free on-street parking with a private front garden overlooking the Newton marina and a shared back garden. The Peat Stack

The Peat Stack is a new coastal glamping cabin situated on our working croft in the village of Tong. The huge windows and large decking area boast beautiful sea views. The perfect getaway to relax and recharge. We are a short stroll away from the beach and have a lovely outdoor hot tub. Perfect location to explore the Isle of Lewis. Parking on site.
