Towels, bed linen, usual necessities provided Heating; oil filled radiators. Nice river side walk into town. Off road parking, room for bikes.

Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. I am happy to share local knowledge - places to visit, walk, eat and swim.

Set on St. Mary's Isle peninsula - which juts out into KirkcudbrightBay - each bed has views of the River Dee in this modernised historic cottage. You can watch the fishing boats head out to sea for their catch, whilst deer and pheasents roam the landscape on your doorstep.

The Fish House

The Fish House is a characterful cottage, finished to a high standard with views to the River Dee. The detached cottage has been renovated and upgraded using stone from the ruins of the original Fish House that dated back to 1825 to provide a spacious and contemporary holiday cottage while retaining the character of the original building. The upgrade makes the most of the location and the Sitting room and kitchen are light and bright.
