Fire pit with cooking grate next to the brook you are welcome to use weather permitting. Great hiking, biking trails, snow showing and Nordic skiing minutes away. We have 8 acres of beautiful wood and IMHO a beautiful spot that we're continuing to gradually improve every year. It may be small but we really love it and it's got everything we need. I built this place myself based on plans I bought online in 2001 while working full-time and doing a masters degree. One day, we'll build our dream cottage at the top of our land to take in the spectacular views. But for now, the 3 kids, Vintage Airstream renovation and the jobs are keeping us more than busy.

Dog Friendly Apartment near Jay Peak

Enjoy the beauty of Montgomery, Vermont while staying in a very spacious 1-bedroom apartment that is attached to an 1880s farmhouse with a large backyard, garden and and orchard. The apartment is a 15-20 minute drive to Jay Peak Resort and a 3 minute drive to a grocery store and restaurants. It is walking distance from the Hutchins covered bridge and there is private access to the river. Excellent walking for your dog(s)!

Located in the heart of Brownington Village, and about 15 miles from the Canadian border, our property allows for easy access to many scenic locations. Enjoy all that Vermont's Northeast Kingdom has to offer including many beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, and ski areas. There are about a dozen homes in the village and you will hear traffic going by, including horses and buggies carrying our Amish neighbors.
