Remote and secluded, Sandstone sits on a hill that was the property’s quarry, where the old-timers split the mountain’s sandstone rocks to make the foundation stones for their cellar and house. Their excavation holes are visible from the cabin. We thought that was so cool, so we carved out a place for Sandstone too! This cabin is on a hill: a peaceful piece of WV heaven that will comfortably accommodate up to 4 memory-making guests! Furry friends welcome with $95 pet fee.

It is a half mile to West Virginia Wesleyan College, and the Riverwalk. It is a 20-25 minute drive to Weston, WV, via 33W and a 25-30 minute drive to Elkins, WV via 33E. It is 1 1/2 hour drive to Canaan Valley, WV and a 30 minute drive to Stonewall Resort.

Beautiful sunrises in an open living room/kitchen make for great mornings as a couple or with the whole family. The apartment can sleep up to 6, with a queen bed, two twins (trundle) and a sleeper sofa. Air mattresses are available upon request. We also have a beautiful outdoor patio with fire pit.
