Our Two-Story log suites are the perfect basecamp for couples and families alike. They offer two bedrooms with two spacious bathrooms, along with a small kitchen, equipped with induction cook top and refrigerator. Great for extended weekends or a quick trip to enjoy the beauty of Cashiers, North Carolina. Be sure to take a quick hike over to our on-site brewery, Whiteside Brewing Co., and enjoy the great food and drink selection they have to offer. This suite is sure to cure what “ales” you! ;)

Outpost Inn Highlands

The Petite is our 170 SF Queen hotel room with all of the bells and whistles of larger rooms but in a cozier footprint- luxury Queen mattress, Italian linens, vintage Appalachian textiles, Pendleton Blankets, coffeemaker, minibar with NC goodies, minifridge, luxury bathroom with robe, luxury toiletries and amazing walk in shower with the best water pressure. Please note this Room has since been painted Hague Blue by Farrow and Ball (pics on the way!). Outside your door is our newest firepit!

The Blue Ridge Suite at the Lodge at Smoky Cove

You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. The Blue Ridge Suite has a private balcony and entrance or use the main entrance on our grand patio. The suite is equipped with a full kitchen and full size fridge. A beautiful queen log bed and a sleeper sofa bed. Relax in front of the fire in your cute little arm chairs. Enjoy the view from the bed or your private balcony. Enjoy the stocked complimentary coffee bar in the Great Room.

Cozy mountain lodge

Small hotel near South Mountain State Park, perfect for hikers, explorers, and anyone seeking a peaceful nature retreat. We’re in the process of reopening, with some tidying up and repairs still underway. The pool isn’t open yet, and the exterior is being organized, but if you don’t mind that, this is a quiet, secluded, and affordable getaway. We’re only hosting a limited number of guests right now, and we’d love to have you stay with us!
