Picturesque fishing village Portmagee & all its amenities 2km. A short drive to the historic village Knightstown. One of Irelands most westerly houses, an abundance of views and walks on the door step.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The apartment is bright and welcoming, situated 2 minutes off the main Ring of Kerry Road, along the Wild Atlantic Way, 5 mins drive from the main town, Cahersiveen. Situated in peaceful surroundings, nestled in the hillside, overlooking Portmagee, Valentia Island and the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy this STUDIO APT with lovely sea view conveniently located only 1 and a half miles from Dingle. Take a 3 minute walk to a local cove beach and come back to enjoy a cup of tea on the patio or relax by the fire. Beautiful countryside area with town only a few minutes drive away. Studio is on the backside of my cottage where I live. One queen bed in the main area and two single beds in a small low ceiling loft with railings open to below so no children under 5. Dogs require pre approval.

The large airy kitchen, with fitted and free-standing units retains its farmhouse feel but is well stocked with all the essentials. Electric shower upstairs and pumped shower in the downstairs bathroom.

Breathtaking views towards the spectacular and historic Blasket Islands. Many amenities nearby. A short walk to Krugers Pub, the most westerly pub in Europe. Close to the Blasket Island interpretive centre, and a short walk to island ferry. On Dingle Way walk, and near to surf and swimming beaches. Regular daily bus service to Dingle. A very special place.

Boat House on the Beach

The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
