Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

The Old Church Inn La Farge

The Old Church Inn La Farge was built in the 1890’s and served as the community’s Free Methodist Church until the early 2000’s.The property has now been converted to a studio rental. This space includes an open kitchen, dining room and living room area along with 2 full-sized beds and a futon. Conveniently located on main street, you’ll find yourself a short walk from downtown businesses, one mile from Organic Valley’s Headquarters and a little over two miles from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve.

The Spring Water Retreat -@MillCreekCabinsWI

After crossing a narrow path along the lake you will find the entrance to the Spring Water Retreat at Mill Creek Cabins. The remains of an old farmhouse now welcome our guests to a warm, secure, escape from the everyday. This secluded space is the perfect place to relax in the woods.​ With no TV and large windows looking out over the lake, the focus is on the outdoors. Despite the remote location, a high-speed internet connection is available to keep you connected throughout your stay. ​

Feel free to explore the woods taking a hike on the network of trails. Nearby you can visit winery's, Wildcat Mountain State Park, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and more. This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 10 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.
