Beachside B & B

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

Private Waikanae beach front retreat

This self-contained, secluded guesthouse with private entrance is right on the beach. Beachside bedroom, good king bed with crisp cotton sheets, contemporary kitchenette with facilities to self cater if required, separate bathroom. Tree-lined private deck. No lounge. Waikanae beach is ideal for swimming, walking and general activity including the nearby Boat Club. Local cafes/two bars, bakery a ten minute walk. Beautiful river walks nearby. Own carport. 50 mins by car to Wellington.

Our pods offer the unique experience of private luxury glamping whilst being nestled in the heart of old beach Waikanae. You can have a quiet drink on the deck overlooking Kapiti Island and then step out for a meal at one of the vibrant local cafes and restaurants. The 36m2 brand new architecturally designed pods are fully kitted out with high quality furnishings and amenities. Free Wi-Fi is provided which makes working with a beach view a great option if you want a longer stay

Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.
