Taupo Country Home and GardensOur home is a spacious 5 bedroom family home with amazing views over open spaces towards the mighty Waikato River and Mt Tauhara. We have two living areas, a large kitchen that you are free to use, and comfortable bedrooms. We are open to children staying, just let us know. We have a laundry available for your use. We also have chickens for fresh free range eggs! Our gardens are being developed and maturing and ready to be enjoyed. Heaps of safe off street parking. Our home is full of books, games, free Wifi, music, piano and guitar if you would like to entertain us with your abilities. We live in a comfortable part of town, all the homes around us are also on 2 acres, and one can easily walk to the CBD in about 15 minutes, but takes a bit longer coming home as it is up hill!! There is no public transport, so a car would be necessary to enjoy Taupo.
Cosy rural cottageOur self-contained cottage is set within our rural, mature garden and surrounded by farmland just off State Highway 1. We are 15 minutes from the centre of Taupo with all the tourist attractions, golf courses and our beautiful lake a 10-15 minute drive away. It is a 50 minute drive to Rotorua and 90 minutes to the ski fields. Relax in our cosy cottage after exploring the beautiful Lake Taupo district or visiting for work or play. The cottage is private up from the main house with easy parking.

Stroll down to the Lake front enjoy the view, then head into town for a few drinks. Chill out, watch the sun go down all while taking in the vibe of the snowy mountains. Summer or winter Taupo's got some mega things to see and do. I can guarantee your time here will be amazing and happy to give a little local inside to help you on your way.
