Welcome to The Sows Ear @ Rahui 🐷. 45 mins east of Masterton. A renovated cottage in the beautiful established Rahui gardens 🌸 You cant get much more rural than this. No phones, no wifi , just good old fashioned being 'present', hanging out with Mother Nature, listening to the birds, and enjoying the company you are with. Richcrest Cabin is built for two people. Off the grid and eco-friendly. Set beside a small lake and totally private. Enjoy the company of New Zealand's beautiful birds, Tui, Fantail and an abundance of Kereru. The cabin provides a stunning peaceful private retreat to escape from the trappings of modern life. Double glazed, fully insulated, infinity gas and a 100 year old weeping willow tree to relax and unwind under. Situated on a traditional New Zealand sheep and beef hill country farm.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint little guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Facilities to make tea and coffee, with microwave / toaster and mini fridge and Smart TV in second room. Guest house is located next to the main dwelling, linked by beautiful decking. We have sectioned a part of the deck off for our guests to enjoy while they are here. Our house / guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

Relax with the calm surrounding sound of nature, river and native birdsong. Our eco cottage "The Snug" has been created with recycled materials, giving it a unique character. Some features The Snug included are a composting toilet, a small wood burner for warmth, and it overlooks a medicinal herb garden and some friendly animals see photos.

A sunny and secluded beach cottage overlooking Waimanu lagoon with views to the Tarurua Ranges inland. A short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks. Accommodation includes a twin room downstairs next to the bathroom, queen bedroom on the mezzanine and another living space with a futon sofa bed. Outside seating areas front and back. Wake up to see ducks and swans on the water - a truly relaxing and peaceful place to unwind.

This newly build and furnished apartment is conveniently located with views of Porirua Harbour from the lounge and deck.
