Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly, dogs only. ($50 per stay, maximum 2 dogs).

Styled like a railroad depot, the artistically furnished home displays intricate stonework, tile and custom stained glass. The kitchen includes appliances and cookware, with the outdoor area offering a propane grill. Complimentary firewood is provided for the firepit.

Glenmont Bike&Hike Hostel

This Airbnb was created for bikers riding on the OTET. This is above a detached garage at zip code 44628. This one open room with a private bathroom includes towels (toilet, shower, and sink). There is a double bed with linens, tv, wifi, mini-kitchen with microwave, sink, and refrigerator. The stove is not working now. The Airbnb is located a few minutes from the OTET/Glenmont Trailhead. Note: NO PETS or children under age 12 allowed. No smoking or vaping allowed in Airbnb.

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. The Carriage House features a master suite in the loft with a comfy queen size bed and a separate sitting area with a 55" TV. The Walhonding Hideaway

The Walhonding Hideaway is a 3 bedroom home on the Walhonding River. It sleeps 6 very comfortably and a 7th on the couch . While sipping coffee or cocktails on the deck you'll feel as if you are directly on the River. There is a beautifully landscaped bonfire area for nightly fires. You may even see Amish buggies stroll by some mornings. During your stay, consider taking the three rivers wine trail or spending the day in historic Roscoe Village.
