Wasta is a small friendly village which is situated off the Interstate 90, easy access to Wall (10 minutes east) with the gate to the Badlands just 20 minutes away.

This is Josh and Christie's basement studio apartment. There is a separate entrance that you have to yourself. We are just a 5-min walk from downtown, so you can easily walk to dinner, tour downtown, and check out Rapid City. Sitting high above Mt Rushmore Road, light from 3 windows makes you feel above ground. Our back patio is nice for relaxing, and our location is convenient. The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!
