Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

Be Our Guest: A Charming Home Away From Home!

This is a renovated, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, historical house built in 1905 that sleeps up to 6 guests. It is located on the main street that runs through downtown Monroe, GA and is near several antique malls. It is one block from The Factory at Walton Mill wedding venue and two streets away from The Engine Room wedding venue. For the adventurous, SkyDive Monroe is only one mile away. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to the University of Georgia campus for all the Dawgs fans!

This warm and cozy home is three bedrooms 2 bath on the main floor and upstairs a bonus room with a office work area. This house has a small, fenced yard. The garage is an added bonus. The neighborhood amenities include a pool and tennis court. A quick 4-5 min drive from the square in Covington and the Covington movie studies are across the street from the neighborhood. Full size washer and dryer and home is stocked with everything our guests would need.

Convenient! Charming 2 bedroom cottage in walking distance to Covington Square where there are plenty of boutiques and restaurants to shop and eat. Recently completed renovation. Enjoy a whole house for the same cost as a hotel room but with the added amenities that come with a home such as added privacy and a full kitchen. You can step out the back door and enjoy a new deck or walk out the front door and take the sidewalk all the way to the square!
