Welcome to Wall – The Gateway to the Badlands Our home is just 3 blocks from Wall Drug Store, 8 miles to Badlands National Park, 20 miles to the Minuteman Missile Site, 77 miles to Mount Rushmore and 94 miles to Wind Cave National Park. Conveniently located near restaurants and gas stations, it's also an easy 8 minute walk to the city park and city pool (Pool opens during summer months) Pets are welcome to stay! Be sure to experience the unforgettable sunrises and sunsets over the Badlands.

Cabin 13

Weekend travelers: Park on street next to Cabin. On Friday or Saturday nights we have events under the event tent on the lot that go past midnight (Check Wakin' Bacon FB page for dates). Wakin' Bacon food truck is available onsite. This cozy cabin is located in the heart of Wall only 8 miles from the Badlands. Find refuge in a comfortable space while exploring the Badlands, the Black Hills, and all SD has to offer. This one room cabin is spacious and inviting as it was recently remodeled.

The Gathering Place

Relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Nebraska Sandhills. This rustic bunkhouse will comfortably sleep four and features a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, and laundry. Take advantage of kayaking the Niobrara River, spending time at Merritt Reservoir, taking long walks with scenic views, fishing, hunting, visiting the winery, hiking, experiencing farming and ranching, or just enjoying a book by the pond. You're sure to leave renewed and refreshed and planning your next visit!

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

Lena’s house

Located a short drive west of Interior and just 6 miles from the headquarters of Badlands National Park, this 1950’s house sits on a working cattle ranch. It is a peaceful location that provides the opportunity to be away from the noise of fellow travelers while still being very close to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and also an easy drive to Wall and Rapid City. This house also provides great views of the Prarie and the wide open sky that accompanys it!

Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. Kadoka is a TINY (population 600) safe and quiet town on the edge of the Badlands. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!

Millers Lodge

Great space for a large group! Located a block away from the local bar and restaurant. This space is right across the street from the park if you have kids and want them to stay active during your stay! The student run grocery store is a short walk a way and has all the goodies and amenities you would need during your stay. Newly added full kitchen and updated bathrooms!

Comfy Western Style Rustic Tiny Bunk House

Before there were tiny houses, there were bunkhouses. This is a one room cabin style space with the bath providing a partial wall separating the bunks and kitchen. The western touches and wood ceiling in this tiny bunkhouse create a cozy getaway. It is the perfect stop and stay while exploring the Badlands National park .
