Hidden Garden Cottage

This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

Our property is available to adults looking for some peaceful time. Conveniently located, our home will be a retreat to come back to after a day of exploring gastronomy and wineries in nearby towns. Numerous vineyards are in the immediate vicinity. On clear days enjoy views from our large deck of Mt Hood, St Helens, Rainier, and local vinery. Welcome to Laurel house! We are located just blocks from Pacific University and 3 blocks from the Grand Lodge. Some easy outings could be to Portland, the Oregon coast, or to the many local brew pubs, and 7 wineries within 5 miles. Our guests have use of the main space including: a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a full bath with a jetted tub, and open living space. Amenities: WiFi, TV, work space, the front yard, patio, and one off street parking space, additional street parking is available.

The Oculus House is a peaceful one bedroom house with a king size bed. It is located down a private alley in a quiet neighborhood. It’s open floor plan and high ceilings gives a balance of comfort and artistic appeal. There is a lounging loft which can be used as a sleeping space for agile children and adults. We have designed the house to honor the era in which it was built and elevate the aesthetic. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom has a luxurious jetted tub.
